Every time I see my little girl dance, I well up with tears. Doesn’t matter if it’s observation day at her class, or if it’s the rehearsal, or the actual recital. There’s something about the sight of her on-stage, so grown up and so confident – doing something all on her own, not involved with me at all. She’s so beautiful, so perfect, so exactly what I always dreamed of when I wanted a little girl so badly.
